8. George Henry HERBERT was born ¹ 14 Feb 1878 in Lea Brooks, Alfreton, Derbyshire. He died ² 24 Oct 1915 in Hainaut, Belgium Aged 37. George Henry HERBERT married ³ Kate DEXTER on 6 Oct 1900 in The Church, Ironville, Derbyshire.

In 1900 on his marriage he was a COLLIER living in Treeton, Yorkshire.
In 1906 on the birth of his son Arthur he was a COAL MINER residing at 250 Fletcher's Row, Riddings, Alfreton, Derbyshire.
Served as a Private (No. 16596) in the 15th Bn., Durham Light Infantry and was killed in action during WW1. He is burried in Ploegsteert Wood Military Cemetery, Comines-Warneton, Hainaut, Belgium (Grave Reference III.J.4).

9. Kate DEXTER was born ¹ 24 May 1882 in 31 Victoria Row, Ironville, Alfreton, Derbyshire. After George HERBERT's death married William MANTON.

The birth was registered on 11.07.1882.
In 1900 on her marriage she was unemployed and living in Ironville, Derbyshire.
In 1906 on the birth of her son Arthur she was living at 250 Fletchers Row, Riddings, Alfreton, Derbyshire.
Some time after the death of George she was living at 83 Ranskill Road, Tinsley, Sheffield, S Yorkshire.

10. John BARRETT was born about 1856 in Norfolk, and married ¹ Lizzie (Elizabeth) WRIGHT on 04 Apr 1903 (c) in Basford, Derbyshire (his second wife).

In 1881 Census he was a Coal Miner and boarding with the Ball family at Bagthorpe Grove, Selston, Nottingham.
In 1903 on his marriage he was a Widower and Coal Miner, living at Wood Nook, Selston.
In 1909 on the birth of his daughter Maria he was a COAL MINER living at 270 Coleford Road, Sheffield, S Yorkshire.

11. Lizzie WRIGHT was christened 02 Mar 1881 in Swadlincote, Derby.

In 1909 on the birth of her daughter Maria she was living at 270 Coleford Road, Sheffield, S Yorkshire.

12. Albert WILLIAMS was born ¹ 7 Aug 1885 in 101 Great Barr Street, Aston, Deritend, Warwick. He died ² 25 Mar 1965 in Lodge Moor Hospital, Sheffield, S Yorkshire from Congestive Cardiac Failure, Myocardial Fibrosis and Mycardial Infarction.. Albert WILLIAMS married ³ Jane RAWNSLEY on 2 Jul 1910 in St Clements Church, Sheepscar, Leeds, W Yorkshire.

His birth was registered on 11 Sep 1885.
In 1910 on his marriage he was a WINDOW CLEANER living at 16 Kepler Terrace, Leeds, W Yorkshire.
Served in the Lincoln Regiment during WW1, (Regimental Number 28028), and was discharged to the Army Reserves on 16 March 1917.
In 1932 he was listed as a WINDOW CLEANER at the marriage of his son, Ronald.
Upon the adoption of Gwen Williams in 1938 he was a WINDOW CLEANER residing at 97 Gathorne Terrace, Leeds.
In 1954, on the marriage of Gwen Williams, he was a SHOP KEEPER residing at 8 All Hallows Road, Bispham, Blackpool, Lancashire, and was still residant there in 1959 on the death of his wife, Jane.
In 1965 at the time of his death aged 79 he was a RETAIL HERBALIST (Retired) living at 131 Northern Avenue, Sheffield, S Yorkshire.

13. Jane RAWNSLEY was born c.1889. She died ¹ 31 Mar 1959 in Rossall Hospital, Fleetwood, Lancashire from Parkinsons Syndrome and Arterio Schlerosis.

In 1910 on her marriage she was unemployed and living at 54a Sheepscar Street, Leeds, W Yorkshire.
Upon the adoption of Gwen Williams in 1938 she was residing at 97 Gathorne Terrace, Leeds.
On her death in 1959, aged 70, she was living at Rossall Hospital, Fleetwood, Lancashire.

14. William John METCALFE was born ¹ 19 Mar 1881 in New Road, Ingleton, Low Bentham, Yorkshire. He married ² Elsie GOODWIN on 22 Jul 1909 in All Saints, Leeds, W Yorkshire.

His birth was registered on 27 Apr 1881.
