In 1871 Census he was a widower, living with his daughters Eizabeth and Mary Ann and son George at Tathall End, Hanslope.
In 1873 on the marriage of his son Joseph he was a SHEPHERD.
In 1881 Census, he was aged 53 living with his son George, and daughters Lizzie and Mary Ann at Tathall End, Hanslope, Buckingham. His occupation was given as Agricultural Labourer.

33. Ann BASON was christened 30 Mar 1828 in Stoke Goldington, Buckingham. She possibly died in 1869.
Ann had died by the 1871 Census.

48. James WILLIAMS married 1Mary Ann HODSON on 24 Dec 1844 in Saint Phillips, Birmingham, Warwickshire. Both had been previously widowed.
In 1880 on the marriage of his son James, he was listed as a COACHMAN.

Mary's previous husband was John LOWE, who she married on 29 August 1831 In Aston, Birmingham, Warwick.
In 1851 Census, she was a HOUSEKEEPER living at Cherry Street, Birmingham, with 3 sons and 2 daughters - James WILLIAMS, her second husband, was not listed.

50. Laurence WEBER was born c.1819. He married1 Sarah HIBBITT on 4 Oct 1844 in Roman Catholic Chapel, Stamford, Lincolnshire.
As with his daughter Philomina, there is confusion over his name, which has been given as :
Lawrence Webber (on Philomina's Birth Certificate) and
Laurence Weber (on his Marriage Certificate).
In 1844 on his marriage he was a DEALER IN CLOCKS, residing in Meloncholy Walk, Stamford, Lincolnshire.
(Melancholy Place is on the south west side of Stamford running beside the River Welland.)
In 1856 on the birth of his daughter Philomina he was a CLOCK MAKER / JOURNEYMAN, however his address was not given as his wife Sarah gave birth in the Lying-In Hospital in Islington, Birmingham.

In 1844 on her marriage she was a SERVANT residing in All Saints, Stamford, Lincolnshire.
(All Saints is the parish around All Saints Church in the centre of Stamford. There are "All Saint's Place" and "All Saint's Street".)
In 1856 on the birth of her daughter Philomina she was residing in the Lying-In Hospital, Islington, Birmingham.Background Information :
"Lying In Hospital, founded in 1842 and for many years located in Broad Street, in the Mansion, since formed into the Childrens Hospital. In 1868 it was deemed advisable to close the establishment in favour of the present plan of supplying midwives and nurses at the poor patient's homes. 56. William METCALFE was born 1 c.1812 in Ingleton, Yorkshire. He died 2 15 Oct 1884 in Clapham Age 72 and was buried 3 20 Oct 1884. William METCALFE married 4 Margaret BARKER on 22 Aug 1835 in Ingleton, Yorkshire.
During 1836 - 38 he was a COAL MINER living in Ingleton, Yorkshire.
In 1841 Census he was a COAL MINER age 25 living at Langber End, Ingleton, Yorkshire with his wife, son and daughter.
In 1847 he was a HUSBANDMAN (livestock farmer) living at Moorgarth, Ingleton, but by 1850 was again a COAL MINER living at Nutgill, Inglton. As his father William was also a HUSBANDMAN, it is possible that William Jnr. was helping out his father.
In 1851 Census he was a COAL MINER age 39 still living at Nutgill, Ingleton with his wife, two sons and five daughters.
In 1861 Census he was still a COAL MINER, age 48, and had moved back to Moorgarth, Ingleton with his wife, three sons and two daughters.
In 1871 Census he was still a COAL MINER, age 58, and had moved to Langber End, Ingleton. He was living with his wife, son, daughter (who is referred to as 'Ann', but was born 'Alice') and her husband Richard SMITH, a labourer.

59. Isabella HAYGARTH was born c.1836 in Dent, Yorkshire. She died 1 15.02.1904 in Beech Terrace, Ingleton from Carcenoma of the Liver and was buried in Ingleton, Yorkshire.
In the 1851 Census, she was a KNITTER age 15, living with her mother and father at her paternal grandparents house.
In 1855 on her marriage she was living at Thackthwaite, Dent, Yorkshire.
Present at her death in 1904 was her son, Edmund.
