The ballet pictures show costumes from The Northern Theatre Ballet's wardrobe department on the occasion of our visit to their premises in Leeds. We watched Class, a rehearsal and had a lovely lunch, then saw many examples of costumes made for their productions which of course had been specially made. Their construction and the technicalities of making costumes that will stand up to the strenuous use they need to withstand was well explained and then we had an opportunity to handle and inspect the garments at close quarters.
